Osprey Project

We hire 4 field technicians each summer to assist with the Osprey Reintroduction Project. Interested applicants must be able to withstand long hours on a kayak and must have a knack for raptor identification!

Franklin's Ground Squirrel Project

We hire 3-4 field technicians with a strong work ethic to conduct a statewide survey of Franklin's ground squirrels (a state-threatened species) in Illinois each year. The field technicians should be effective and skillful in data collection, including trapping and handling of Franklin’s ground squirrels.
